Composition
Each liter of solution contains:
- Doxycycline 200 g

Indications
- It’s used for Prevention and treatment of chronic respiratory disease (CRD) and mycoplasmosis caused by microorganisms sensitive to doxycycline.
- This medicine is be used in poultry when the herd is infected by clinical diseases, to reduce mortality and complications caused by diseases and clinical symptoms and to reduce injuries due to Pasteurelosis, which is caused by Pasteurella multicida, or to reduce complications and injuries caused by respiratory infections caused by Ornithobacterium rhino tracheal.
Dosage and Administration
Suggested dosage for use in poultry:
- 10 mg of doxycycline hyclate (0.043 ml of the product) per kilogram of body weight daily for 3 to 4 consecutive days
- In case of Pasteurella multocida infection and 20 mg of doxycycline hyclate (0.087 ml of the product) to per kilogram of body weight daily for 3 to 4 consecutive days in case of Ornithobacterium rhinotracheal infection.
- The exact amount of the total product consumed daily should be calculated through the dosage of the drug, the number and weight of the consuming bird.
Contraindications
- Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to tetracyclines.
- Do not use in animals with hepatic dysfunction.
- Do not use Doxynic® 20% in laying herds whose eggs are used for human consumption.
Withdrawal period
Meat and carcass: 12 days
Incompatibility with other drugs
- The absorption of this medicine is decreased if taken simultaneously with drugs containing calcium, magnesium and iron.
- The Simultaneous use of doxycycline with Cephalosporine, aminoglycosides and beta-lactams are not recommended.
Storage
- Keep it in room temperature and away from direct sunlight.
- Keep the lid of container closed.
Precautions
- Use under sub vision of veterinarian.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Do not use the product after the expiration date written on the label.
- The shelf life of the medicine after mixing with water according to the instructions is for 24 hours.
