Indications
Treatment and meta phylaxis of:
- Colibacillosis caused by Escherichia coli susceptible to trimethoprim and sulfamethoxazole
- Coryza caused by Avibacterium paragallinarum susceptible to trimethoprim and sulfamethoxazole
Note: The presence of the disease in the flock must be established before the product is used.
Dosage and Administration

7.5 mg trimethoprim and 37.5 mg sulfamethoxazole per Kg body weight a day, for 3 consecutive days (Equivalent to 1 ml of Soltriniq® / 2.67 Kg body weight per day) equivalent to 1.5 – 2.5 L of Soltriniq® / 1000 L of drinking water daily for 3 consecutive days
Based on the recommended dose, daily water consumption, the number and weight of the birds to be treated, the exact daily amount of Soltriniq® required can be calculated.
Note:
- This product does not need to be diluted in a small amount of water. To prevent active substance precipitation in drinking water, add the calculated amount of Soltriniq® directly to the drinking water tank.
- During the treatment period, medicated water should be consumed within 18-24 hours.
- During the treatment period the animals should not have access to any other source of drinking water other than the medicated water. It should be ensured that animals always have sufficient water available.
- Prepare a fresh solution daily.
- Preferably use tap water with low hardness and pH of between 5-8.
- Avoid mixing medicine with water in galvanized containers.
- Dosage and duration should be prescribed by a veterinarian.
Contraindications

Do not use in animals suffering from severe liver or kidney disease.
- Do not use in animals with impaired haematopoietic systems.
- Do not use in layers producing egg for human consumption.

Avoid the simultaneous use of Soltriniq® with other products such as acidic one which has negative effects on stability and solubility of Soltriniq® in drinking water.
Withdrawal period
Poultry meat: 5 days

Storage
- Keep it in room temperature and away from direct sunlight.
- Keep the lid of container closed.
- The shelf life, if sealed and subject to storage conditions, is 2 years after manufacturing date and 3 months if opened.
